Cusco day 1

LIMA -> CUSCO

Wow! The views from the plane from Lima to Cusco were insane… almost as insane as the altitude here. It’s kicking both mine and Izzy’s arse. I’m putting on a brave face.

Last night (our first in Cusco) I got no sleep. I think the altitude, the 4 shades of yellow in the room, the tedious hot-water situation and the curtains that don’t fully close — OH AND THE HOG WILD PARTYING THAT HAPPENS EVERY NIGHT HERE, THAT BOUNCES THROUGH THE WALLS INTO THE INNER CONCLAVES OF MY SKULL.

But besides that, hey, it’s not a bad room by any means. I feel dandy 🙂

P.S. I also left a note on the bed for Izzy to read so hat was nice of the hotel for arranging. It’s the only good thing about the hotel, likely the only thing that stopped us from going to a Hilton #boujie.
