Brazil – layover day.

Guess where we are? You guessed wrong. We’re in the back on an uber that cost about £1,50. Here’s why:

Back window completely smashed in. Shardes of glass everywhere. Driver doomscrolling Instagram Reels, the entire journey. However, we made it alive. 5 stars all round. Suggested to other passengers.

Today is out final day here in Belem and we said goodbye to everyone. It was so sad.

Izzy — Our friends, because they do not feel like ‘staff’ anymore, in the Belem hostel were so lovely. They gifted us mangoes, crochet bookmarks and a boat made from a palm tree. Today we were driven to a dry cleaners because there was a huge storm and our clothes we gave to be prepared didn’t dry in time! We will remember  them and their kindness forever xx

#rewind. We’re actually writing this a bit ahead of schedule because, well, we were busy, I guess. Right here, right now, I’m writing about the day we went for lunch on the amazon river. First off we took a bloody speedboat to get there! It was fast, we had to wear life jackets, you get the gist.

So we speed along the arterties of the amazon, creeping around, passing boats and houeses on stilts until we find the restaurant. WOW! We stayed there for an hour, partying, swimming, drinking, and listening to Kelia and Aloo’s back catalogue. And then, we went to the final show of the trip.
